Hello everyone!

I’ve officially been back in the United States for a little over two weeks now, and re-entry has been surprisingly smooth. The strangest part has definitely been adjusting to how quiet, yet somehow sped up, American life feels.

As I look back on these past months, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. I’m grateful for my squad and the big, beautiful family we formed. I’m thankful for the intricacies of God’s creation and the gift of exploring it. I’m remembering the many moments when I had to lean completely on Christ instead of my own strength, and trusting Him when things felt impossible. I’m also so grateful for every person who encountered the true love of Christ through our team. I am continuing to pray for those who put their faith in Him and are stepping into a deeper relationship with Jesus. Praise God for everything He did, and everything He will continue to do, in Brazil and Ecuador.

Please keep praying for the seeds that were planted in the hearts of those who heard the gospel for the first time. So many people were hungry to learn more about God and His heart. Lord, bring people who will water those seeds and disciple these young believers! And please continue praying for the girls at the foundation. Two of them recently had a process hearing and are waiting to hear whether they will be able to return home. If not, they will be placed with a safe, approved guardian until they turn 18. The goal for every child at this foundation is to prepare them to re-enter society with confidence, skills, and hope for a new beginning. It is such a beautiful thing to watch them graduate from the program.

Throughout my time away, my leaders invited me into roles with high responsibility and encouraged me to step into serving and empowering my squad. I was both our team treasurer and our logistics point person. At the beginning, I did not feel equipped for a double role. As treasurer, I was responsible for tracking, organizing, and submitting all our receipts, as well as helping keep our team budget updated in our spreadsheet. In logistics, I helped plan our entire debrief trip, led travel days, and coordinated details for ministries and shorter trips. Through all of this, the Lord taught me what it means to serve faithfully from behind the scenes and to walk in healthy, biblical leadership. By the end of the three months, I felt so much more confident and even found myself excited to take on more responsibility.

As I prayed about my next steps, I felt the Lord clearly opening a door. I decided to continue serving on mission during the spring semester, and I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been accepted onto the World Race alumni trip. We will be traveling to the 10/40 Window for four months. I leave in January for round two, and I am so excited. This trip will challenge and refine my faith, and I will be surrounded by experienced missionaries who know what it means to listen to the Holy Spirit and respond to hois voice.

There are still ways you can support me. The first and most important is prayer. Your prayers truly matter. There were days over the last three months when fear could have easily taken over, but then the peace of God would wash over me. Later, I would find out that someone had been praying for me at that exact time. Never underestimate the power of prayer.

Another way you can support me is by helping mobilize me financially. If you feel led to partner with me in that way, I will include the link to my fundraising page below.

Thank you for every prayer, every offering, and every bit of support over the past few months. I am so grateful for each of you.
